Gabriele’s research looks at the economic effects of Large Research Infrastructures. In particular, he is interested in the spatial footprint of their economic impact and the role that Big Science projects can play in innovation and regional development policy.
Before joining the PhD programme, Gabriele worked as Economist at the Greater London Authority and the think tank Centre for Cities. He holds an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck and an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from the LSE.
