Lucrecia is a PhD student in Human Geography and Urban Studies (LSE PhD Studentship). Her current research focuses on urban activism, particularly on women’s social movements. She plans on conducting ethnographic field work in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She holds a MSc in Urbanisation and Development from LSE with Distinction. Her Master’s dissertation won the LSE MSc in Urbanisation and Development Best Dissertation Prize and the George and Hilda Ormsby Best Dissertation in Department (Geography and Environment) Joint Prize (2018). In 2015, she participated as a Special Program for Urban and Regional Studies (SPURS) fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on urban studies and development. She also holds a Bachelor in International Relations from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).
