Green Impact

Creating a sustainable LSE and engaging with climate issues

Green Impact is an NUS programme designed to help organisations implement environmentally and socially sustainable practice. We're proud to be part of Green Impact at LSE, supporting the work of Sustainable LSE and helping to acheive the goals of the Sustainability Strategic Plan.

Our Green Impact team is made up of staff and students who are passionate about sustainability and concerned about the environment. We're committed to ensuring sustainability is factored into every area of department life. This means working on practical measures to make the department more sustainable and running initiatives to promote sustainable thinking and actions.

We also encourage people across the department to engage in the discussion on climate change and bring their knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm to bear on this most urgent of problems. This includes publishing articles from staff and students on our blog, sharing ideas from those doing research in environmental politics, and organising events and activities to enable further learning and debate.
