About me

Dr David Woodruff joined the Government Department in 2006. He was previously an associate professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a visiting associate professor at Harvard University.

David also runs the Political Economy in Public blog.

 

Research interests

Politics and economics centring around two core capitalist institutions: money and corporate property rights. Contemporary Russia and other emerging markets, capitalist institutions in a volatile international economic environment.
