Victor studies elections, political parties, and voting behaviour in Africa. His PhD thesis interrogates how African voters respond to party switching among their elected representatives. His current research delves into political behaviour and party politics in Africa around key issues such as climate change and gender. Before joining LSE, he was a Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at the University of Warwick.
Victor holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Warwick, an MSc in African Development from LSE, an MA in Governance and Development from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, and a BA in Philosophy from the Imo State University, Nigeria.
